Parking at the Hotel
Hotel Cromwell offers complimentary car parking on a first come, first served basis. Owing to our town centre location, our car park can become full at peak times.
Our car park is for patrons only and entry is via the front of the hotel over one way ramps.
We employ Parking Eye to ensure that only hotel and restaurant guests are able to park in the car park. You will be required to enter your registration number into a tablet at reception upon arrival for the duration of your stay.
Hotel Cromwell accepts no liability for any loss or damage to cars parked in our car park.
Electric Car Charging
Our Electric Charging point is located on the back wall of our car park, part of the HYDRA electric vehicle chargers. There are 2 charging points available, both of which have the following spec:
- 22kW output
- Type2 charging cable
- RFID control
- PEN protection
- Hydra Cloud Management
- 400v three- phase
- Tariff driven charge times
- Wired ethernet
The charging points are allocated on a first come, first served basis and are run by an external company. You will need to download the HYDRA Nexus Cloud App to use these charging points.
Alternative Parking
If our car park is full, parking can be found at various areas around Stevenage Old Town, all within a 5 minute walk which includes street parking and secure car parking managed by the local council.
The map below indicates three nearby car parks at Primett Road South (A), Primett Road North (B) and Church Lane (C).
On-street parking is free of charge however is subject to local restrictions. These restrictions vary dependent on the location and time. Please refer to available signage.
