Dining at Hotel Cromwell

Rump and Wade, our on-site British Brasserie, offers freshly prepared dishes available throughout the day. Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, offering seasonal dishes that are locally sourced where possible. Working closely with Stickleback fish suppliers in Welham Green to ensure Rump and Wade has the pick of the market as soon as the boats come in. The salmon is smoked by our head chef and the famous slow cooked pork belly, as well as other dishes, is sourced from Dingley Dell Farm which has a superb reputation for producing the highest quality meat.

You can book a table for your evening meal and your hotel breakfast is also served within Rump and Wade.

Our Ingredients


We cook good, honest, flavourful food that is British at its heart. There may occasionally be influences from other modern European cooking styles but we will seek to source British produce and prepare the dish in a British style where possible. We love taking advantage of rarer cuts of meat & cooking them low and slow in just the right way to enrich the meats with flavour.

We pride ourselves in offering seasonal dishes that are locally sourced where possible and work closely with Stickleback fish suppliers in Welham Green to ensure we have the pick of the market as soon as the boats come in. We source our pork from Dingley Dell farm which has a superb reputation for producing the highest quality meat.
